Chris Dupré is a seasoned private equity executive and strategic advisor. He brings over 16 years of experience investing in middle market private market companies across a range of industries and situations, including standalone acquisitions, merger integrations, carve-outs, divestitures, turn-arounds, and restructurings. He spent the majority of this time with Wingate Partners, but he also has worked with Renovo Capital and Bank of America Capital Investors (now Ridgemont). During his time in private equity, Chris has worked on over twenty different transactions comprising more than $350 million in equity invested as part of three different top-quartile funds. He has served on two different fund investment committees, six company boards, and has led and executed all aspects of the M&A process from sourcing to structuring to due diligence to capital raising and execution.
Drawing on his prior experiences with Bain & Company in strategy consulting, Chris is a strategist and advisor who partners with executive teams to identify and drive growth strategies (both organic and acquisition-centric), performance improvement initiatives, organizational alignment, and strategic transformations. He views people and talent at the core of this work, and he focuses on near-term action geared to produce sustainable results.
Chris holds Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Texas Christian University, and a Masters in Business Administration with Distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was named a Siebel Scholar. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
